From the Ground Up

£25.00As we move into Spring, it’s time to shake off Winter and, like nature around us, unfurl and grow tall! Join us on Saturday March 15th, 9.30 – 11.30am for a pilates and yoga workshop at Abbey Rooms, Romsey. We’ll be working from the feet up to improve posture from the ground up.
We stand, we walk, we run, and we rarely pay attention to how our feet and ankles are working, their positioning on the ground and the effect that that has on the rest of the body. During the Pilates session, we will use self-massage, mobility and strength exercises to improve your balance and posture. Please bring a towel and be aware that we will work with bare feet.
In your yoga session, expect both seated and standing postures, aimed at helping us to lengthen the spine, open the chest and get ready to walk tall into this new season. Please bring any props such as a cushion or blanket to make your practice more comfortable.
The session will end with some tasty homemade drinks and nibbles! The perfect way to spend a Saturday morning! Our last workshop sold out very quickly so, book up soon to avoid disappointment. Please bring a yoga mat, large towel and a small pillow or cushion. NB PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY ANKLE OR FOOT SURGERY SO WE CAN ADAPT THE EXERCISES.
