FAQs
I’m new to yoga. Are the classes suitable for beginners?
Whether you are an experienced yogi or if have never been to yoga before, the classes will safely accommodate your unique abilities and talents. The beauty of yoga is that there are always many variations which can make poses comfortable and accessible to all. Just come along and enjoy!
What should I wear?
Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes such as a pair of stretchy leggings and a T shirt and you should be fine. Bring along a blanket or a warm jumper for the final relaxation if you wish. We do yoga bare foot but, if you feel the cold (like me!) I can recommend some special yoga socks which will ensure your toes are toasty and prevent you from slipping on the mat.
Do I need a mat?
Yes. You will need to provide your own mat and any props such as a blanket or a cushion. Mats should be cleaned thoroughly before and after each class, in line with my Covid policy.
I have an injury. Will yoga help me?
Yoga can be great at helping to strengthen muscles and build up stamina, as well as stretching tight and overworked areas. However, it’s really important that you tell me advance of any injuries or illness. I can then ensure that I look after you safely and I can have plenty of alternative postures for you to practise, built into my lesson.
